The OP is obscure. Would be nice if ccp would explain better on what they are trying to achieve.

Come on you bent us over and dont expect us to cry ****!
Christ! How spoiled can you get?! There's a scheduled downtime of 30 minutes every freaking day, but still, most days you can log on after only 10-15 minutes of downtime. So, how are you going to compensate CCP for giving you more than you pay for?!
According to a monthly subscription fee of Ç19.95 a 9.5 hour downtime during a normal 23.5 hours day (excluding the .5hr normal dt) would cost the user Ç 0.089.
Where does he get the 6 month free play reimbursment again?

This change is not making the game for children.

How very arrogant and stupid to make a comment like that. So because many people enjoy PVE (and not PVP), they are worthless ? Why don't you grow a brain and think a bit, use it properly. "1000's of PVP players waiting for you all to come play"......Ignorant AND arrogant.
'Nuff Said Thorn.
Until CCP starts doling out free ships and mods, PvP players cannot live without PvE players.

And where can we find said long term goals? Never seen them published if someone has a link please share. Seems to me the game is getting simpler for new players (good) and rocking the boat for 0.0 to break down barriers (good for newish players looking to expand their gameplay) and distributing agents to unclog lvl 4 agent systems. I don't personally like the fact that someone can scan an entire system at 64 but I think I'll live.
Read the blog look at their videos.. read about fanfest.
Just because missions will have a more uniform payout doesnt mean it will become a childrens game. that is ridiculous. there is SO MUCH more about EVE than getting paid by a mission agent. Skill training, optimal ship fitting for PvE or PvP, mining, manufacturing, invention, exploration, and the list goes on. These things take a lot of time and effort to learn how to do effectively. Just PvP alone (ships killing each other) is a lengthy learning process that people learn about over years of play and though one aspect of many in EVE has a lt of components to it. Not the mention the 'sandbox' element of good decision making.
It is far from a childrens game and despite this one change in a minute part of the game (mission access and payout) isnt going to turn it into a childrens game.
If this small part of the game is everything to you and you feel nerfed by it, then you have not discovered EVE.

That is, we are versed and learned some skills in vain? Can then immediately make a book "perfect player" and the whole game to teach her a perfect one? Long-term plans should not spoil the gameplay and its well-established quality, quality that is interesting EVE.
Exactly what gameplay is equal payout and access destroying? Dont be silly. I've worked many of my characters through the agents the hard way and frankly I dont see this as a negative change.
If this ONE ISSUE destroys your gameplay, just quit EVE now. There is a whole game out there with endless possibilitiies that maybe you're not prepared to discover.

I think it is these folks who are moaning about the change in this thread.

Social skills were also clearly directed at certain branches of the relationship. What's wrong when the exercises a lot, but it is clear why each of them necessary?[/quote
Social skills are reworked. You get reimbursement for any changes they make to yours. You can take your reimbursed skillpoints and re-assign them to the new social skills if you like. So no loss there.
My point is... Mission Agents change wont make the game into a childrens game. It will not destroy anyones enjoyment of EVE either.

Your wrong. PvP players would continue to do what they do.
they wont because there would be no one to supply the resources to build ships. Nor would there be people to build ships or supply them to low or null sec area hubs.. on and on.
PvE folks delve into many other aspects other than missions (mining, building, hauling, invention, etc) and a lot of their mods are reprocessed and reused in building cool things like faction stuff among other things that we need in PvP.

Just because it's in low sec doesn't mean it's not PvE. In fact Eve really blurs the line between PvP & PvE. Doesn't EvE stand for "Everything vs Everything"? ;)
You've missed my point. those pvp'ers would not have the other side if it didnt exist like many other pvprs are suggesting.
